About Pastor Judy Brooks

Pastor Judy BrooksPastor Judy Brooks grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1994 at the age of 36.

Before that time she was an atheist. She was head of security at a maximum security prison where one of her employees witnessed to her. Judy gave her life to Christ right inside the prison on a working post. Previously she lived life as an alcoholic, as a racist, battling with a sex addiction, and walking in homosexuality. Jesus delivered her from all of these evils.

In 1996 Pastor Judy Brooks accepted her calling into the ministry. Judy began to evangelize and serve God. In 1996 God also gave her the name "Brothers and Sisters of the Cross Ministries." After this she continued to be taught and mentored by Godly shepherds.

In January of 2006 God called her to her full-t ime ministry. God directed Pastor Brooks to start the ministry in Greenville, South Carolina and bring his vision to pass. After 25 years of working for Indiana Department of Corrections and not that many years left until retirement, she resigned her position as a Director. On April 26, 2006 she relocated with her first member, Minister Teresa Jones, to Greenville, SC. God opened a door at a clubhouse in which she began to pastor a few people.

Brothers and Sisters of the Cross Ministries is a loving church family with an emphasis on living Holy and righteous, walking in excellence, and serving the needs of all people. BSCM has been given a special anointing from God in the area of deliverance. BSCM also has a prison outreach.
