Brothers and Sisters of the Cross Ministries

A Ministry Dedicated to Service

Brothers and Sisters of the Cross Ministries is a ministry dedicated to service. It was formed and organized exclusively for religious, charitable, and educational purposes, such as:

  1. Providing aid and assistance to indigent persons.
  2. Performing religious services.
  3. Presenting "God Inspired" educational and motivational programs that encourage young people to have a positive attitude toward themselves and their community.

What We Believethe good book

We Believe That:

  • Leadership is the key to ministry growth.
  • Leadership is not dictatorship but influence.
  • Leadership grows a ministry and ministering builds the people.
  • People should be rooted and grounded in Christ, and in their church.
  • It is not enough to lead people to Christ; they should become active members, involved with the ministry, in fellowship, instruction, and worship.
  • The work of the ministry is best accomplished by the saints through the use of their spiritual gifts - using people where they are most usable.

Doctrinal Position

Our Spiritual Beliefs:

  1. We believe in the inspiration and authority of the scriptures.
  2. We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe in the Deity, Virgin Birth, Death, Bodily Resurrection of our Lord and Savior.
  4. We believe that Salvation is by Grace. The conditions to Salvation are Repentance and Faith.
  5. We believe in the visible and personal return of Jesus the Christ.
  6. We believe in the everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost.
  7. We believe we are to sow the seeds into kingdom building with our time, talents, and our treasures (tithes and offerings).

Expectations for Members

What We Expect:

  • Bothers and Sisters of the Cross Ministries is a Church Family, where everybody contributes and benefits.
  • A true supernatural ministry at work in the church begets vital spirituality and functional people throughout the whole church family.
  • The body is to be built up by the mutual efforts of all members, supplying their contribution to the whole.
  • The call to (empower) the ministry requires mentoring, training, imparting, and discipling; all aimed at preparing the body to become an overflow of the ministering life of Jesus Christ, to others in our city, other cities and our world!

Ministry Policy

Ethnic and Racial Equality Policy:

  • Our ministry family is committed to fostering an environment which celebrates differences that may exist among various ethnic and racial groups within our society.
  • All forms of discrimination based on race, national origin, or cultural differences are deplored and will not be tolerated.
  • We believe that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ can deliver individuals from the power of sin and disease. We must minister to all people - saints and sinners alike.

Confidentiality With Personal Matters:

Confidentiality regarding personal matters will be maintained by all leadership members.

Accountability

As Christians We Must Realize:

We are ultimately accountable to God for giving proper effort, attention, and energy to our tasks.

Personal Behavior

Immoral Behavior Will Not Be Accepted:

As leaders and members we are expected to conduct ourselves in a matter befitting to our Lord and Savior, and the ministry.

Anyone desiring a leadership position with the ministry must be in good moral standing and full of faith in the eyes of God. You must attend services and bible studies regularly.
